Nancy Pelosery, with a popular approval of only 43%, has launched herself into the limelight as if she were some sort of Hollywood celebrity. Bush's approval ratings are usually right around that number, yet Democrats bring much attention to it. This means that Pelosery has a 57% disapproval rating.
Pelosery paraded herself into the House with a whole entourage of people, reminiscent of Michael Jackson on a stage surrounding himself with a support staff. She gives that fake looking smile that lets everyone know that, for her, smiling is a chore. Pelosery gives the appearance of someone very uncomfortable with her position. Sure, her words are those that would exude confidence. However, I think she knows she isn't up to the task of coming up with a clear agenda. She was hollow during the campaign and even stated once that the Democrats "didn't need" an agenda to defeat the Republicans. It was intellectually lazy of her not to at least try to come up something to present to the American people.
Pelosery is now surrounded by many Conservative Democrats who, in the aftermath of their win and her placement as Speaker, have assured their GOP districts that they will pursue their Conservative issues and causes. Does anyone really believe that Pelosery will allow tax cuts, right to life issues, etc. pass through under her watch? Before they have even started, the Democrats have sabotaged themselves. Look for a major divide in the Democratic Party once the legislative process truly gets under way.
Pelosery promised "bi-partisanship". What a crock. Nothing less than militant feminism, tax raising, and ultra-left Socialism should be expected from her. Americans didn't pay much attention to Pelosery before the election. She HID from the media for at least three months prior to the election. Hardly any speeches or anything else came from her baby-eating facial hole. But now she's the Speaker of the House. She has "cracked the marble ceiling". And most of all, now all of the United States will know why San Fransisco keeps re-electing her. She didn't need to campaign in her home district. She is already the far left, anti-heterosexual, anti-male, anti-God entity that San Fransisco wants her to be...so it wasn't necessary for her to exert any effort there. San Franciscans, meeting in their dungeons i.e. leather-fetish clubs, were ready to accept her lack of effort if it meant hiding the truth from the rest of the Country.
Now Pelosery stands on the pedestal that, deep down inside, she is afraid of being upon. I see the fear and apprehension in her seedy-looking eyes. She knows she can't pretend to be a moderate for long. That demonic spirit that lives within her will soon be tearing out of her facade, her cloak, her mask. She won't be able to control it...for once you give yourself completely to evil..you are it's slave.
It will be great to watch Pelosery destroy herself, just as Satan destroyed himself when he fell from the grace of God.

I totally agree with your correct, thoughtful, honest insight. With any manner of decency, one would think Ms. Pelosi would show a shred of character and patriotism, but she hasn't. Not only that, a leader without a broad knowledge of history is doomed to failure, and she is showing that failure sooner than I anticipated. The American people, including Ms. Peloso, have FORGOTTEN that Al Qaeda / Bin Laden / Saddam Hussein et al directly attacked our country in a violent hostile takeover attempt. Does the American population really have such a short memory, less than 10 years? A futile attempt at taking over our country and destroying our way of life, making instant muslims out of all of us, was thwarted only due to our excellent military might and the TRUE HEROES of 9/11 on Flight 93 who took that plane down BEFORE IT SLAMMED INTO THE WHITE HOUSE. Let no one mistake that Al Qaeda and others in IRAN, IRAQ, NORTH KOREA, joined by a few other hostile countries. STILL have the same objective, and that is to DESTROY the U.S. and our Western Allies. Have people forgotten that a coordinated attack occurred: (1) destroyed a complete financial district; i.e., the Twin Towers, and attempted to destroy 10s of thousands of people and succeeded at almost 3,000, maybe more still unaccounted for and (2) directly attacked our Pentagon, the hub over our military and (3) attempted to destroy the WHITE HOUSE? What part of "destroy America" do people not see? I say FIGHT for our RIGHT to EXIST: take the fight to THEM before the take us on again. PRESIDENT BUSH has done that. May God Bless Him and he should just continue to do the right thing and not let politics get in his way. Sorry to get off on a tangent but our country is still under attack and it is only by our military might, our servicemembers, who keep us FREE>
